Brenda Reah joined the Cerebral Function Unit in 2002 as social worker. Brenda graduated in Social Work studies and later gained a Diploma in Counselling. She is currently studying for a Post Qualifying award in Health and Social Care.
Brenda is involved in several voluntary organisations and has been instrumental in developing services for people who have an acquired brain injury. Together with Camille Julien and Cheryl Stopford she set up the CFU Carers’ Support Group and remains involved in the running of the group. Carers’ issues have always been a passion of Brenda’s, and she is committed to the recognition and support of carers’ needs.
