Dr Tobias Langheinrich
Dr Tobias Langheinrich completed his medical training at the University of Freiburg, Germany. He obtained his MD from the University of Freiburg examining the visual function of patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease and related disorders using psychophysical and electrophysiological methods.
Dr Langheinrich trained in neurology in Sheffield and currently holds an honorary consultant neurologist position at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.
He has a special interest in neurodegenerative cognitive disorders with particular emphasis on higher order motor dysfunction. He currently is involved in research examining amyloid PET imaging in patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and Frontotemporal lobar degeneration.
